Killed himself by hanging himself, on the birthday of his close friend Chris Cornell from Audio Slave, who killed himself in May, by hanging.

Looks like the booze and drugs allowed his demons to take control, he'd hinted at suicide before after he opened up about being abused as a child by an older male.

I'm numb. RIP.
