    Default Server as vpn router.

I've got a server in use 24/7. I use for plex and nzbs, it's Windows 7. It uses open vpn to contact the web and is accessible via local network.
My question is can I route my smart t.v. through it to use the vpn, the t.v. has limited options, Dns and ip settings.
    Thanks
    Ted

What operating system you running? Is the CPU ever stressed or is it just sat there idling?

Win 7, x2 xenon quad core cpus . Plex will take them up to 80 ish when there are 5 or 6 sharing.

It is only when the tv needs to use vpn as my isp is going to start blocking iptv streams apparently.
I thought about getting a cheap ww-drt compatible router and use that instead, if the server is a pain to do.

I've set up a proxy server on my media server to route my fire tv through and works a treat. I think I have used cproxy but can check tomorrow. In kodi I have set a proxy but if your tv doesn't have that option I'm not sure but you may be able to use the local server IP as the gateway, will have to check.
