    a couple from me
first is a car shunt that happened last year

unfortunately it was my car that was shunted

next up is on the way back from cornwall earlier this year about 200 miles into the journey home
the car you see on the right pulling up to the side of me is telling me there's something wrong with my back tyre ( puncture )
as i pull on to the hard shoulder the car you see shoving the car off the road is my daughter ( oh the shame ) she was so busy watching me through the rear view mirror she just didn't see the car in the first lane
lucky for her the other driver had their wits about them

    close call

    last one for now
some idiot overtaking a pushbike on a blind bend

The driver couldn't be certain it was safe, but he/she was over the carriageway by a foot too...

that chevroned area isn't actually bordered by solid white lines - and he wasn't really trying to queue jump as he was turning right and not forcing his was back into the traffic. not something I'd have done but understandable given the amount of traffic on the roads these days

I wish I had one recording my rear, as about a year ago a tour de France wannabe smashed into the back of my stationery car![emoji23] he fucked his bike up and broke his hand .
He made me laugh when he said how long have you been parked there? I said about half an hour![emoji23][emoji23]
I have the front dash cam footage all you can hear is a almighty bang and a lot of whimpering.
Got 250 quid out of him for my damaged boot.

I captured some cracking arse the other day on two separate occassions.

    1. Is two girls from my work, so I can't post it as it's in the public domain which could be traced back to me and would look weird and pervy?, and the other after looking at the footage again, I'm not sure she's old enough!!!

Agreed - not a clever move - but I'm sure he was queue jumping, there's no doubt about it in my opinion. The right turn lane starts 300 yards ahead and he quite simply took advantage of the "lane" if you will where the chevrons are. Maybe not technically wrong, but still, it was a deliberate decision to go into the chevron area.

On a different note, yesterday coming home from Blackpool I was doing a nice comfy 70 when some fancy motor bombed by me and must have been way over 80, close to 90 maybe. I wouldn't dare do that speed lol...

I found myself a bit annoyed with the view from the dashcam when attached in a central position - using Halford's own brand double sided high strength sticky tape - it just didn't seem to hold steady and when the engine idled, there was a distinct "wobble" which with me being fussy meant sorting it out.

So I got the branded 3M VHB pads (sent to me very kindly by Nextbase) and someone suggested a bit of BluTack in the socket where the ball goes to act as a "filler".

The combination of these things made it steady, just as I would expect it to be.

    The clip is below.

Moral of the story is the branded things in life are often better than the cheaper Halford's versions, lol...

I can see the skip lorry might have struggled to stop so he risked it (still naughty) but unseen at the start, a Peugeot grey car behind me overtakes and as he is in the yellow box junction, the lights change to amber (and we know that means stop!) and the driver knows it because he brakes, but then clearly decides "sod it" I'm going through anyway.

Oh and the little blue Getz has a bulb out, lol...

This lorry seemed to have to use the wrong side of the road. I assume he/she made the right move even if technically wrong? The back end seemed to "drift round"....

Rear steer. You can clearly see the back wheels steering.
