Default The history of Digital Forum's

So i'm bored today and was having a nosy round the forum and decided to look at the members of Digital Forums, i know Rap's the founder of DF but when you look at the member join date he's a way down the list on page 7, joining in October 2000, yet the first member @regular joined in November 1999, so if Rap's the founder would he not be first on the list?

Anyone know the history of the forums creation?

    Sorry for being nosy

We should make this thread about the actual history to update those of us that may have missed the dramas back in the day.
Personally, I wouldn't know the answer to the original question, but be interested to find out.

Some stories I know of include Partyman's PSP Saga (Classic bellend!)

Baldy being called out by sgtbarton created a lot of drama

I've not seen the Breamy threads, but have discovered the scenario since.

Realist was a great contributor until he went that little too far thinking Sly subs were in demand and everyone needed one. He also accused anyone circumventing their TV where wankers.

MsDG! She was something else entirely from my understanding.

I had been a member previously, but the IP we were using back then (AOL Dial Up) I think had been banned. A bit of time went past, and I forgot my username. I re-signed up, but then I believe I got banned, c2003, went a away again for a year, came back again in around 2004-2005 and was around until 2008 ish, and then left, forgot my username and E-Mail so just rejoined again under my current name, grew up a little and have behaved since.

One name other than ABCMan that sticks out, was TwoPlanks, some little young chap, he was a full blown wind up, and did pretty well at it.

    Thanks to BigBrand

Newy (Andrew New) set the forum up if my memory is correct and it was a site add-on as with most forums at that time

I used to love the drama Sometimes was a great laugh during the day and would break up the monotony of my day job. There were two or three people in my office that were on here fe_man2000 being one of them although he's moved to Somerset or Devon or somewhere now and don't hear too much from him anymore. The days of the Neokey brought me here originally I think - seems like a lifetime ago now.
