Default Any Linux guru's in here ?

Have a dual boot setup on one of the PC's with Windows 10 and Kali Linux (Ubuntu basically).

All working fine until I attempted to install AMD Radeon driver in Kali. Followed instruction and all fine but on next reboot, it just hangs whilst booting Linux. Windows fine obviously.
I can boot into Linux recovery command prompt as root, but unsure how to uninstall the AMD Radeon driver (assuming that is what caused it) tried resetting to default state but recover command prompt has no Network access.

I used to be a dab hand at all this but not played with it for about 10 years and appear to have forgot it all :-)

    Any tips appreciated.

    sudo amdgpu-pro-uninstall
    sudo aticonfig --uninstall

    sh /usr/share/ati/amd-uninstall.sh --force
    or
    sudo sh /usr/share/ati/amd-uninstall.sh --force
    then reboot.

    2 Thanks given to mrbongo

    You are indeed a guru.

The last line was all I needed a quick reboot and back to normal. Much appreciated. Thanks.
