    Default The Computer Magazine Archives

Found a great site that has lots of computer magazine archives, i was originally looking for some Commodore Amiga stuff and found it.

It's got lots of old magazines i used to buy years ago like Amiga format, Zzap!64, The One etc, and from the ones i've tried the download links are working.

Very nostalgic and worth a look.

Love archive.org if you haven't checked it they have a section which has web based emulators and loads of old games. Sure there's a post on here somewhere about it.

I've got fond memories of scribbling down the latest pokes from Crash magazine in WH Smiths using pens I'd nicked from Argos.

That's an awesome find, and I don't mind admitting that I get a bit of a lump in my throat reminiscing back to the early days. It also reminds me of just how much I have forgotten having not coded anything in many, many years. THANKS for the heads up.

    * I've got loads of the copies of C&VG, in my Mum & Dads loft going back to circa 1981 (or whenever it started, as I had the ZX80 then ZX81 and wasted many an hour typing in games that seldom worked. Though it was a great learning tool to try and figure out what was wrong. Oh, that reminds me, I've also got a few of copies of "park porn" mags hidden within covers of C&VG. I'll have to remember to take a looksy when I go to get their Xmas Decorations out.

Not quite on topic. But if anyone used to read Super Play back in the day, the latest issue (172) of Retro Gamer comes with a free Super Play supplement, written and produced by a lot of the staff that used to work on it back then.
