    Default Sky Broadband and DD-WRT

OK, I've got Sky broadband with their standard SR102 router. What I would like to do is deny access to certain IP addresses at certain times of the day and also check which IP address is using the data. Basically my kids are raping the broadband when they go to bed so I'd like to block their access after 9pm. I've tried doing this in the settings of the router and I've also tried a few apps but neither work particularly well. Is this possible if I get a DD-WRT router? I don't want to spend a fortune so if anyone can recommend something, that would be great

    Thanks

DD-WRT or any decent firmware should be fine, I do the same on mine to block any of the kids phones, ipads etc accessing between say 10pm and 7am off memory. Also have another schedule setup so if they gob off at something they get a full ban lol

    Thanks to hoponbaby

If you want the cheap option then you can get a BT homehub 5a or plusnet hub one for a couple of £ from a carboot etc and with a bit of messing get Openwrt on it.

Will that replace my SR102 router if I extract my username / password?
