I had a shit event this year. Not sure if I posted it anywhere, so apologies if it's a repeat.

My uncle (mums brother), who shares the same birthday as me, died of many things (age, parkies, msra). It was on the cards despite being only 70.

What made that so much worse was his grandson (15) died 2 days after from falling through a roof. My Cousin, about my age, essentially lost his son and dad in the same week. Can't comprehend what that would be like. I went to my uncles funeral and was stone for my family. I wouldn't have coped with the boys funeral as well.

    Its our birthday on Wednesday.

Glad in a way my family are not that close. Emotionally or geographically.

Did it a year ago for a mate, it was an honour to be asked. The church was so full there were people outside looking in. I can't figure one thing out though he seemed to be heavier on the way out than on the way in. Must have been the emotional strain of the service.

Huge condolences to you both for parents and relatives.
No sympathy for the devil; keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride...

    Thanks to beansontoast
