Default Being a Pall Bearer !!! Grim I know.

First time in my life I was a Pall Bearer 2 days ago. Fuck me it was tough.

Now emotional stuff aside has anyone else ever had the misfortune to do this.

Hope to never do this again. Also found it very physically tough as I am 6'2 and all his immediate family are closer to 5' so I seemed to take the weight. I could see a few shoulder that didn't get touched ;-)

I am an emotionless cunt but I did have a little blub if I am honest....

Five times so far. It is an odd one but I am glad I did it each time.

Once for my mother and once for my mentor.

Not a misfortune, was a honour to walk with them one last time

Both my parents died this week and as much as i want to do it for them i don't think i will be up to it.

There's a service here, and then there will be one in Italy where they are being laid to rest.

I have done it in the past and it was a very emotional experience, the way i am feeling i can't do it this time.

    3 Thanks given to ilscuro

Sorry to hear that, losing a parent is not only devastating but leaves you feeling very much alone and unprotected in the world I can't begin to imagine how it feels to lose both so close together.

Thanks, they both died within 5 days, they had been together for 70 years so it was expected when one went the other would too, we are all devastated but at least they are at peace now.

That's sad to hear mate. I can't imagine what it's like to lose both in such a short period of time. Condolences to you and the family.

Sorry to hear that mate, thoughts are with you
You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

It is things like this that make you realise how important family is and how you need to help each other through it all. All the best.
