    Default Bias lighting?

Anyone use this behind their tv? Read up on it and like the idea of it but wondered if anyone on here had done it? Putting the thing on the wall next week now I have decorated and thought this may work as a light while watching telly.

    This is one such product.

These are just leds stuck to the back of the tv right? Bias lighting sounds like some bullshit marketing term

I have LEDs on the back of my tv and no way is it enough to light the room. I bought some of these recently for a different project which will work: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/USB-...799864105.html
They have a usb connector so cut to length and plug straight into the usb on your tv.

If you going to put light strips behind your TV then you might as well go the whole hog and use an Ambilight clone. The most popular is http://lightberry.eu/ but there are other homebrew kits using Pi's and Arduino's.

Phillips has some models of TV with that on the back. Not what I am after really but some lighting and if it improves my experience then all the better. I would be doing this with LEDs if I do but try and use the right temperature.

I had a Philips lighting kit some years ago which connected to my HTPC and would light up, it may have been an ambilight. Not sure where it's gone now but it was a bit bulky, not strips. It was decent, particularly on scenes with lightning etc.
