Its ok for just buying and selling BTC etc and their prices are good to be fair. Just not what I personally want it for.
So you trade one crypto to another rather than to cash?

Yes. Typically trading between BTC and an Alt Coin and back again as they rise and fall.

From what I gather you can buy using any currency Revolut supports and sell then transfer to any of those currencies too so it has some use if you want to buy a coin then sell if it appreciates. Just need to see how their prices stack up against other exchanges but the benefit will be simplicity and ability to change currencies.

By the looks of it you select the holding e.g. BTC then you select what currency you want to transfer it to e.g. USD and it's as simple as that. I think the point of Revolut is you can change currency at market beating rates so as long as the price it uses to value crypto is competitive compared to the exchanges then seems a good option if you don't need to transfer crypto to crypto (although you may be able to transfer between the 3 cryptos they support). All of this is my understanding rather than tried and tested.

Really good time to buy imho. Be patient.
It could drop further but don't panic as it will with a certainty rise above what you bought in at.
Still a bear market right now but showing all the sign of a shift to the bulls.

Coins I am invested in right now as well as BTC are TRX (Tronix) and ADA (Cardano), plus a bunch of others but these are the 2 I have the most interest in.
ADA has Charles Hoskins at the helm.. one of the creators of Ethereum .. This could be huge.
TRX is high risk but at it's current price of $0.03 it is worth a punt as it has a LOT of interest in Asia and a possible deal with Alibaba. Got a lot of these coins so hope something does work out lol

I always say only ever put up money you can lose and not give a shit about :-)

I'm not so sure on LTC atm due to the CEO/creator dumping his bags and with LitePay failing - but who knows?

Ethereum seems a very good buy atm, down 50% and Eth isn't going anywhere soon due to the whole chain running on the stuff!

Definitely a good time to buy in though.

that's the best advice, its akin to a game
with all the professionals on it, with advanced tools and AI, the lonely person guessing is at the poor end of the spectrum of 'luck' imo...

    100%.

With platforms such as Coinbase it's so easy to dump money in and buy Crypo. Without knowing what you're getting into, it can be very risky.

Please please pelase only buy what you can afford to play with.

    Yes a solid one imho.
Already a decent price for such a newish coin.

Investing in TRX atm as I am convinced this is way undervalued at $0.03 .
It's CEO is the son of one of the founders of Alibaba so I reckon it has good investment backing.

They also had a successful testnet launch 2 weeks ago as they are leaving the ETH platform as a token and launching their own mainnet blockchain in May, so I expect a big surge.

    Thanks to piggzy

I use IQ Option and didn't have to buy anything else to buy TRX.

AFAIK you have to buy one of the Big Crypto's first and then you can buy what is considered an Alt Coin.
You would need to purchase BTC, LTC, ETH to then purchase other coins. Some exchanges also allow XMR, DASH direct purchase but have never come across alt purchasing directly which quite frankly is a pain in the arse.
Like you I would love to just put FIAT directly into what I want to purchase as you lose to much in tx fees and commission etc

BTC has the highest tx fees so if you can do it via ETH or LTC then you will save a big chunk imho

To add if you can verify ID with photocopy of driving lic or passport then I find binance the easiest with low fees/charges.

e.g. 0.1% fee when buying TRX with BTC/ETH. Not sure on initial fee to purchase ETH/BTC but from memory they were lower than others.

Also using Binance and once you transfer into it it's easier.

Update on binance. I forgot but you only need to verify ID if you want the ability to withdraw over 2 BTC per day from memory.

I remembered that is why I use them lol
You can call yourself "El capitan" so long as you stay under the limit ;-)
You still need a bank account to withdraw though so not that stealthy unless you have overseas accounts etc

Edit: As they dont deal in FIAT they dont require as many regs as other sites.
