    Default Eminem - Revival

Dropped today, available online. Will listen to it today but the couple of tracks I have heard already were a let down and I'm a die hard Em fan. I hope the rest lives up to MMLP2, I know Slim is gone for good so no more of the old skool style but this one seems a mix of pop collabs and political poetry if the first two singles are anything to go by.

    Thanks to evilsatan

Going to listen today, don't hold much hope, I don't like this new style.

I just don't get it with Eminem, what is he trying to achieve?

It's clear he's still angry about his dad, upset about Proof and other than that, not a whole fucking lot.

Whe he felt the need to colab with Ed SHeeran, Beyonce and Pink over relevant Hip Hop artists such as Post Malone, J Hus, J Cole, Migos, Tyler TC, 21 Savage, QuAVO etc.

Just seems to me he's lost any real direction, and no one in the producing studio tells him what to do anymore.

He really should stop making music, and this comes from a big fan.

Saying that, Nowhere feat Kehlani is pretty good, but the best track on the album is the last Arose.

i think its a very lazy album, by his standards maybe only 2 or 3 tracks could make a proper album, the rest are poor, i cant understand how many colabs are needed for him, he is a proper legend who doesnt need supporting artists to sell records.

i do like the tracks where he goes after trump and that was the flash of the old school tracks that he used to make but other than that, i dont feel there is that edge to his music any more, maybe he does need to stop making tracks and concentrate on producing and finding new talent but this album for me is one of his worst.

He doesn't need colabs to sell records, the album will sell anyway, but he needs some to make a good record.

His style and voice has changed so much, no one wants to hear 3 rounds of 16 bars of Eminem angrily rapping about not a lot.

Gone are the days of the voice, style of Run Rabbit Run etc
