Taxi rapist John Worboys to be freed from jail

One of the UK's most prolific rapists, John Worboys, is to be freed from jail.
The taxi driver carried out more than 100 rapes and sexual assaults on women who were passengers in his cab after giving them drug-laced drinks between 2002 and 2008.
In 2009, he was convicted of 19 offences and ordered to serve at least eight years in jail.
It is thought Worboys, who is now 60, has spent 10 years in custody including a period on remand.
After a hearing about his case in November, the Parole Board decided to approve his release with "stringent" licence conditions.
He will have to report to probation staff every week and is barred from contacting any of his victims.
'Victim unaware'

One of Worboys' victims told BBC News they were unaware that his parole hearing had been successful and he was due to be let out.
Worboys' period on licence lasts for at least ten years and he can be sent back to jail if he breaches any licence conditions.
The Parole Board said in a statement: "We can confirm that a three-member panel of the Parole Board has directed the release of Mr John Worboys, following an oral hearing."

Hmm, over 100 rapes/sexual assault and 19 convictions and out in 10 years!?!?!?! Surely even 19 lower level sexual assaults should warrant more than 10 years.

The only type of people I would expect to get lower sentences are politicans, coppers, and very very rich businessmen.

I've previously said there is something wrong with black drivers being treated highly preferably.

I wonder how many years we would have got if it was one of us? (If anything I would expect higher standards to be placed on a black cab driver due to the way black cabs boast about their safety).

Or the real killer, how many years would it have been if was an Uber driver?

Yet again, the black cab industry obviously pulls strings to get preferential treatment without leaving any proof so people who notice the obvious pattern are treated like they are wrong.

Surely at some stage someone should have realised the sentence was massively too lenient and reviewed it as we hear in many other cases.

So by his standards that means that a rapist committing 10 Rapes will get 12 months. What the fuck is going on here.
I've seen "one off" rapists getting terms of 3 years, so by that standard he should be serving hundreds of years. eg Never released.
