I was offered a discounted one (via email I think) last year so signed up just so I could sync media to my devices for a trip I was going on. I haven't tried any of the other features, don't like the idea of sending my media library to their cloud in case there were any copyright accusations etc.

I think I need to connect my PMS to a tuner and digital aerial to enable the live TV so can't test it out for you either but maybe some others can. I found the mobile sync feature to be very slow to sync but it did work, wasn't sure if my PMS upload bandwidth was to blame or not but I am on fibre so it should be reasonable.

    Thanks to evilsatan

I got lifetime for £35 about 4 years ago. It was worth it then but not now. The live tv is for US only at the moment I think. You used to need plex pass to use plexpy but I don't even think that's required now. I see no benefit me having plex pass at the moment and I certainly wouldn't pay the £100 a year they want now.

And as ES said, the sync feature takes ages.

I got my Plex pass a long long long time ago
I use the sync option all the time and find the up and down load speeds to be not a problem at all.

As for the live tv side etc I don’t bother with them or the cloud either
I have previously tried to get tv services to work through Plex but they were also crap

Very rarely they email a Plex Pass offer, I got it for $75 in November but I can only recall a handful of these deals over the past however many years.

    Thanks to evilsatan

You can use a usb tuner here in the UK for live tv but I wouldn't bother. I tested it and it's shite.

    Default Plex Pass

Yeah I bought pass on deal last year for lifetime so far never used it !

my plex server guy doesn’t allow sync and I get him to put all my media on that need

I thought about making 4K server but maintaining would be the pita that’s stoping me as no longer really use newsgroups and never fooked on with torrents

Has been worth it for me as I have friends and family connected to the server and I control their accounts internally.
I have used the TV tuner side of it but couldnt get a decent enough signal (no aerial on house and live in a huge dip so shit tv signal)
You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

    Just saw this on HUKD:
    Code:
    https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/lifetime-plex-pass-5937-account-specific-2900635
Account specific, wasn't sure if this was the code you got, at that price I'd go for it if funds permitted as they seem to be developing at quite a rate.
