Photos Dronefly... Might be amongst the last I could take...

Not been feeling the love with the camera for a good while now, but today I did grab a few, 3 of which were of a dronefly on the laurel.

Can't decide if I am giving up the hobby or not yet, but I might be. In the meantime, I could add a few pics here and there...

It may well be that the gear finally goes up for sale but still not 100% sure of the decision. I've lost the interest, but that doesn't mean it's all over just yet. Thought I'd update you all with a pic or three though...

    Paul.

    Paul.
Unless you're desperate for the money it's worth putting aside until you get back into it.

You take excellent shots and it would be a shame to just give up.

I go through the exact same feelings from time to time, i love photography but there are times when i just completely lose interest and don't touch my camera for months, and then i don't put it down for months.

I think you will regret selling up because that love you have for your hobby will come back at some point, and some of your macro shots are fantastic, plus when you sell gear you usually take a big financial hit.

Whatever you decide best wishes from me.

    Don't sell up Paul.

I haven't taken pics for a year or so but couldn't sell up as i know i'll want to take some more at some time.

It's finding that inspiration to get you out and shoot.

Kids ruined my photography hobby. No fucking time these days. Kept all my kit though but keep thinking of getting shut and getting something more easily portable.

Talking of portable, i went out to Daisy Nook country park last week, all my mates had Canon's with massive 100-400mm zooms, i had a go with them and thought fuck that, i could hardly lift them, i had my M4/3 Panasonic G80 and same lens as them but M4/3 version which weighs nothing.

    Nuthatch

On their website you couldn't tell the difference between my photo's and theirs.

If you want portable Bert, M4/3 is the way to go.

    Thanks to ilscuro

Don't sell mate. You've put too much time, energy and money into it. I've gone through the lulls where I've wondered why I have thousands of pounds worth of kit in my bag but I know I'll always come back to it. The problem for me is that I have too many other things occupying my time.

    Work
    Family
    Cycling
Plus of course I'm flying with the drone a lot so I guess yeah I'm taking photos but not so much on the ground anymore. There just isn't enough time to do them all.
I'll never sell my kit though.

Tell ya what mate, when we get Summer: The sequel, lets make a day trip somewhere. We can find a good place for some Macro, then perhaps we can find somewhere for a bit of aerial photography too. You're not far from the Trough of Bowland so reckon there's some nice photos to be had there.
