    SciFi Bright [2017]

This is a Netflix made film. Will Smith is a human cop, partnered with an alien cop.

So a buddy cop movie, but with an interesting premise (not an endless sequel/prequel/reboot). It'll slightly remind you of Alien Nation, for those of us who grew up in the 80s.

The critics absolutely lambasted this. But you know what, it's a good fun action flick. Is it a great film? No. Is the script oscar-worthy? No. But it's full of action (and I mean plenty of it), and it's got Will Smith in it, and the alien guy is pretty funny.

If you've got 2 hours to watch something tonight, give it a go.

    7/10

Yep, I enjoyed it but it sort of ends abruptly... as if there's a part 2 to come.

Apparently there’s is a second one coming or so I heard somewhere when reading about this one.

Ill google ot later and check.

    edit:

Despite the widely negative reviews, Bright has quickly broken numerous Netflix records, becoming the highest viewed original film ever on the streaming service in its first week of release.
As was highly publicised before release, Netflix has already scheduled a sequel, something that has now been officially confirmed.
Alongside the announcement, Netflix released a video featuring two orcs pretending to audition for the upcoming sequel — Joel Edgerton plays the leading orc in the original.
