I remember the Phileas Fogg Corn Chips, they were proper cheesy, used to love them. The Garlic Croutons they made were pretty decent too.

pmsl. They really do. The best salt and vinegar style crisps out there though.
I get sweaty eye brows for some reason every time I eat em, burning lips goes without saying.

I would say about 15 years ago Kettle Chips did a flavour that was something with Burgundy red wine. Google shows me to be a liar but I remember them well as they were amazing and I was gutted when they vanished.
From memory it was some sort of cheese with Burgundy red wine but I could be mistaken.

Burgundy Red Wine bit is factual despite no google evidence :-(

I remember cos it actually tasted like red wine which no other crisp had pulled off.

Maybe I just got pissed on Burgundy Red Wine and ate a packet of Cheese crisps ;-)

No it really was a thing.

You thinking of the Stilton and Port ones that were in a bluish bag? They are good but usually a Christmas edition.

    Thanks to BertRoot

You're not mistaken, they were called 'mature cheddar and burgundy'. There's a picture of them in the link below

I also found the comment below from an article in 2016

Chris Barnard , executive chef at Kettle Crisps. The company are about to launch a new mature cheddar and burgundy flavour crisp.

    McCoy’s Ready Salted
    McCoy’s Flame Grilled Steak
KP’s minichips - salt and vinegar.

Fuck all of these new fangled posh crisps. And as for crisps made with parsnips and other non-potato vegetables.... fuck right off. Cunts
