A Website software question....(Pirate Stuff)

I'm thinking of developing an e-commerce site with warez development software (ie. Macromedia Studio) but I'm afraid i'm getting caught by the feds. Just wondering what are the chances of it, or if any of you out there are doing it. I'm planning to use Windows advanced server, SQL Server 2000, Macromedia Studio and StoreFront 5.0. All of them of course "acquired".

Let me know if there is a way for the feds to find out....

The feds don't care about individual pirating, they try and stop it at a higher scale. They of course do have the right to prosecute you, but it is very unlikely. Also, I don't see how they can find out that your software is pirated by just making a web site. Go for it, you won't get caught unless you tell everyone that you are using it.

Uh, if you're planning on running a business on warezed software, watch out for the BSA. But I say go fucking buy the software. You are profiting from it, in one way or another, so there's no reason why you shouldn't purchase what you're making money off of.

SpngBob - First off, I think this is a legitimate question to ask in an appropriate forum to ask it in (As opposed to posting in Slashdot)....If this forum is used by a bunch of immature kids (like yourself) then don't bother replying.
I'm sure someone out there is thinking or doing the samething I'm thinking about and I just wanted there opinion.

After all this is ISO News (ISO 0-day get it?) and it's services reach out to the appropriate people who may be interested in this sort of stuff.

afropik - I wholly agree with you, except I'm totally broke and can't afford $10,000. I'm a recent graduate looking for a job but in the mean time, I need something more to supplement my income rather than my shitty part time job. IF IT'S SUCCESSFUL then for sure I'll buy the legitimate copies and pay my dues but IF I'M NOT SUCCESSFUL(ie. loosing money, red ink, holes in my pockets) then i don't have much to loose except for a couple useless cd's. For now this is the way to go BUT if the shit hits the fan I'd like to know about it, thus my reasoning for asking this question.
