    Default Generic Dvd-r's

Hmm just wanted to ask a quick question:
There are generic dvd-r's for pretty cheap(under a buck a piece) however i'm well aware that chances of burning a successful dvd-r is lower. I was wondering if anyone has tried using them and what are their comments about them.
Should i buy cheap dvd-r's or should i just get the 5 dollar ones.

Here's my experience w/ generic DVDR.

Princo 1X doesn't work, yet the 2X works perfectly. Also Ritek 1X. (both going for around $1.5)

princo 1x works fine on all my xbox/ps2/pc I have never had any problems like skipping/crashing or anything else. They work great and r very cheap right now, like 75 cents/dvdr

I would stay away from generic DVDR media at all costs. I first used media from cd-recordable.com and it was terrible. Then I tried compusa brand DVDR's and for whatever reason they worked great at first, but weeks later barely played and skipped badly. I would stick with verbatim's or apple's if you are serious about your ps2 games. Yeah they are expensive, but in my experience, you get what you pay for.
