Default Need a clearmax cable box remote?

    Hey,
I searched around the net. and i found this http://www.hifi-remote.com/cgi-bin2/...i?cbl_clearmax , A vcr code on the all in ones works on the clearmax and all u need to do is remap the keys and it works like a charm. I just bought a $10 6 in 1 remote from wall mart (URC-4640) and it works great, only took like 10 min to remap.

    THANK YOU soo much!
I lost my remote and it rendered my box basically useless (couldnt filter in any channels)

How exactly do you remap individual buttons?

Here is how to program the advanced codes on that specific remote:
    Instructions:

    Press the device key
Press and hold SETUP (wait for two blinks)
Enter 9-9-4 (wait for two blinks)
    Press SETUP (don't hold it)
    Enter the 3 digit code
Press the button to be assigned

The advanced codes to remap for the clearmax are:

    use VCR code 0037
and remap the buttons using these advanced codes. (This
does not work for Clearmax 2000, unfortunately).

[Note: the POWER button is mapped correctly]

    Gotta love the one-for-alls.

My insurance with my clearmax was to immediately learn all the buttons into my receiver's learning remote, now the original is put away safely.

That's good to know that somebody has figured that out though.
