What do you need to play " DIVX movies" on the sega dreamcast

hi.. im just curious if there is a way i can take any cd with a divx movie on it and play it on the Dreamcast..?!??!

if so what program do i need ...do i need to change or convert anything to the divx movie or install a extra program to the cd itself..??

how about .mpg or avi files....

any suggestions and help are welcomed....orlinks to websites that explains how to..

anything up to 496 x 496 with audio at 44100hz 128kbs can be played.However with a movie like that your lucky if the picture pops up after 10 mins and even then it will prolly run at about 1fps.For good results (25fps) your gonna have to limit yourself to 320 x 240 with the sound at 22050khz 32kbs,and make sure the Video bitrate is lower then 60.This will play back fine.

DC Divx isnt suitable for long movies but for short 20 minute movies(or episodes of Transformers i download from Kazza

i downloaded a program called DCDIVX but i as the guy said, u have to chop up ur dvx movies to get em to play well. usually the framerate sucks and u get a lot of freezes. it takes a long time to get started as well.
