    Before you all ask,

I think the PS2 version is much better. The game looks "ALOT" sharper and crisper because the 2D characters look alot more defined and not blurry or anti-aliased which IMO should not be applied to 2D games.

Also the Dreamcast and PS2 versions are around 200-300MB. The reason why there are some copies of the DC version which are 700MB is due to a dummy file which was added to speed up loaded.

I wish there was a way to add dummy files to PS2 games which dont use much of the CD like this game because the loading times compared to the DC version are longer

dc games had dummies because the laser read from the outside in on the disc. Putting a dummy on a ps2 game wouldnt do jack shit. Ps2 is just a piece of shit laser or maybe its just the media you burned it on too. I know as my ps2 keeps getting older it reads less and less brands of cdr and dvdr. I used to burn all dvdr on memorex(which are crappy) but they were 4 dollars when tdk were still 7.99. Now they dont load at all. But now I use primedisc which cost about 1.60 and they play on my ps2 great. P.S. just wait for the xbox release, it will load faster and probablly look way better, if it uses the black and white buttons for tags though I will have to kill it.

Yes it would. Mobile_Suit_Gundam_Federation_vs_Zeon_DVD had dummy files on it to speed up the loading by pushing the data to the outer edge of the DVDR and these dummies were ripped to make it fit on a CDR but the CDR version is slow as heck in terms of loading.

How would I know? I have both DVDR and CDR releases of the game.

I use very high quality Verbatim 80 Min Metal Azo CDRs and my PS2 laser is also perfect and i have never had probs with it.

The game is great. The control is alot better with the ps2 controller imo. One thing that annoys me is that the game is not auto-loading my save file when I boot the game.. Other than that, good port.

Same here. Strange since nearly all Capcom fighting games on DC and PSX have auto-loading saves.
