I would use the USB if you play fps games (need that extra bandwidth) otherwise, use the normal mouse thingy and save the USB openings. My box has 4 usb 1.1 and 2 USB 2.0's, and (just so you know) it doesnt matter if you put a mouse (they all currently are the 1.1 speed) in the 2.0 USB opening. Wont make it like, faster, or something.

    So yeah. I'm high.

    this page here: http://www.razerzone.com/products/bo...echnology.html

has some stuff involving mice and things of that nature.. it's a little old, but imformative. hope this helps

It would be better if you put it into your USB port because then it would autodetect (in Windows). Also it'll give you a bit more bandwidth. Only use PS/2 if you don't have USB

    that stuff is bullshit

ALL the wireless optical mice run at 50 Hz, i mean the data transfer from the receiver to the mouse is on 50 Hz, which is quite gay for FPS's.

you can check with checkrate, which is part of the PS2/RATE app.

PS2 can handle up to 200 Hz, and USB will sometimes "crash", then you will need to unplug/plug again the mouse

so Logitech is copying on Microsoft, with commercial nonsense

their latest wireless optical mouse is supposed to be twice more precise, because it's 800 dpi instead of 400, but it doesn't fukin matter, as seen as it's actually running at 50 Hz(because at 100 Hz, the batteries would die twice faster).

    REAL MEN USE PS2 MICE

USB is much more reliable then PS/2. how old is ps/2 anyway 10, 15 yeard old? It's fucking old useless shit no wonder ABIT got rid of those ports in their MAX models. USB is a world standard almost any wireless device uses it now and how many use PS/2? zero. The only reason why PS/2 is included is for more compatiability which = more money for logitech. So you saying "REAL MEN USE PS2 MICE" is COMPLETE bullshit. With all the features of USB 1.1, even a mouse will be better on USB then on PS2.

the only thing that might make PS2 better is maybe USB might not work with some shitty dos programs or some old shit but who cares about that.
