quickest way to set the nokia 8210 back to factory settings is to unlock it twice

if its switched off then its rendered useless anyway

Since when does unlocking it twice set back to factory settings?
Amnd what do you mean if it's 'turned off'?

To set factory settings just usde any inlocking pogram and set default factory settings... this will reset security code to 12345.

If it's just the security code then just use something like NokiaTool or Logomanager and a M/Fbus cable and it will tell you the security code that is being used. Then you can change it manually back to 12345 or whatever you prefer.

    Hope this helps m8.

Correct, but if the incorrect code has been typed in more than 5 times, it'll not even accept the correct one.
So sort this, you need to do full factory reset.

    You need....
Mbus cable for your phone (www.irwebonline.com is good place to get one)
Eeprom Tools, Rolis NokTool or similar software from www.cubwolf.co.uk

Read phone, and press the button which resets factory values (will say so on the software)

    Regards

Just for the record, that's just with that clip. It's just the way it works, so doing the same using software would not help.
