ARTIST TO EAT DEAD BABY ON TELEVISION

CHANNEL 4 is to broadcast a programme showing a performance artist eating the flesh of a dead baby.

Beijing Swings looks at the extreme practices of some artists in China - and has been condemned by the Chinese embassy in London.

The documentary will be broadcast on Thursday night, just over a month after Channel 4 came under fire for showing a live autopsy.

It features stills of Zhu Yu, the artist, biting into the body of a stillborn infant.

He told a newspaper: "No religion forbids cannibalism. Nor can I find any law which prevents us from eating people.

"I took advantage of the space between morality and the law and based my work on it."

A spokesman for Channel 4 said: "The programme will be controversial and will shock some viewers but a warning will be given before it goes out on air."

Think they pushing things abit too far now, the autopsy thing u could argue was an educational experience but eating still born kids is just sick ..
I for one will not be watching channel 4 that night & i bet they wont have very high audiance figures either

All ch4 wants is to try & boost there veiwing figuers ,
Why dont they just show some high quality porn instead, a garenteed success.

plus there are far worse things happening, especially in China. OK so they aren't broadcast on tv {well over here anyway}, so, going back to what madmanc said, "if you don't watch it, turn over"!

this is typical of channel 4 though!

Personaly I would blow the sick ****ers brains out.

If this is allowed to take place then it to me shows just how sick some people in the world are, and for those who think this is entertainment then you are just as bad and need a ****ing good kicking.

I aint against expresion of will but fo ****s sake we have to draw the line somewhere, they will be having people having sex with kids on tv next all under the guise of entertainment.

I watched it, and wasn't offended by it!

In my opinion, the explanations as to why they did it was the key to this being ok*, all except that woman who made the living curtain (she was weird)!

*this doesn't mean to say I agree with eating dead human flesh.

if you watched it then you'll know what I mean.
