    Default Amiga Emulator

    Hello all,
    This is my first post.

I used to have an amiga 500 computer (back in the day) and i have a ton of disks filled with games and other files for the amiga. Is there an emulator that I can simply stick a disk into my PC and either play the games or read the files?

I have tons of pictures and text files that I would like to convert over to my pc but I don't know how I can do it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Chilen

thanks for that url. I checked it out and downloaded a bunch of stuff and have started transfering some of my old files.

I havn't tried to play any old games or anything yet though.

    Thanks for the information.

    I was greatly appreciated.

The best Emu for the Amiga is:

Cloanto Amiga Forever v5.0, fast and excellent emulation.

last time I looked, you had to use the amiga to make an image of a floppy, then transfer it to the pc....cos a pc can't read amiga floppies...

    btw, i've got an a1200/030 eide/scsi somewhere upstairs....was a cool machine.

What i did to get them ported over to the PC (Well the games/apps I loved & cherised).

Was to DMS the disk on the amiga to the HD and port them over via an Ethernet connection to the PC via an old app called Laplink.

I was using an Amiga 4000 then, and before that on my A1200 I was using a Null Modem cable with an app called Twin and that was in DOS on the PC which took an absolute AGGGGEEE!!! ahhh there were the days :therock:

Anyways nowadays I have collated the complete collection of Amiga 'ADF' files of every game and app in exsistence (Hopefully) via Emule and the likes...

Have you checked them with the Tosec tools? I thought I had a few but when I ran them against their list I'm missing loads!!
