3210 - no sound?

hello,

im trying to fix a 3210, its version 6.00

its got wet, not wet wet but damp, these where the symptems as told to me,

in a bag which got wet from rain
phone worked, then in evening everything froze
person left for a month and it had no sound only beep once and key tones..

i know if a phone is water damagaged the circuit board will be blue in places, maybe rust showing or other little signs, well i have checked and the circuit board is fine, whats the problem and hows it fixed, maybe it needs the software reflashing?
