    Default Backing up games

OK, so i've heard that all you have to do to copy a PS2 game is use something along the lines of DVD-copy in Nero or cloneCD. Here are a few niggling questions that i would appreciate some help with:

Do is matter if you burn "on the fly"?

How big can PS2 games get?

Are any of them bigger than 4.7Gb and require ripping?

Where can i find the ritek dvd-r media that works with the PS2 in the uk?

I'm buying a PS2 pretty soon, which version should it be?

Are there any known problems with this version i should know about before I go ahead?

    Thanks in advance for replies!

Oh, and one last question, is there any reason why you couldn't make a working backup from a backup? I've got GTA:Vice City backed up to bulkpaq but have little hope of it working with a PS2. If i burnt a copy onto a Ritek disk, would i then have a working backup or do you always have to copy straight from the original (i don't see why)?
