looking for a little confirmation please

Q1 I have got a spare d1000 box which i have opened up and cut the talkback track on the tuner. The lower of the two lights now flashes continuously i hope this means that the talkback has been disabled?

I have got the rom7 card from this box but i cant read it no matter what i try but a mate says he has read some rom7 cards and will get the boxkey and ird numbers for me.

I have got a spare rom10 card from another bloke

Q2 Can i then just edit the ntl10.bin from the rizzo site to add the box & ird keys obtained from the rom7 card and away i go or do i need a full wowking card to read from?


just two little questions and i think i have already answered them myself but would like confirmation from sombody more experienced.

1. if the middle led is flashing continuously then yes the talkback is disabled.

2. yes u can put ur boxkey.and ird from ur rom 7 into ur rom 10.
u might need ur cam id too

i have cut my track and the bottom led doesnt flash on my box. i have a 4000 does this flashing led do this 4 all models

its the middle led that should flash if it doesnt then talkback is still enabled.


which track did u cut ??? is it a di4000-T ????
