Most of you testosterone fuelled he-men will consider this a chick-flick so if you don't like dealing with your emotions in public then steer clear of this movie (or watch it alone like I did).
The movie is centered on 3 women in 3 different locations and times sharing the same emotions of unhapiness and unease with their station in life. The 3 women are connected by the writing of Virgina Woolf (one of the women) and particulary her book, Mrs Dalloway, in which a woman keeps up appearances for the sake of everyone else while feeling terribly unhappy about her life.
The performances of Nicole Kidman, Julianne Moore and Meryl Streep as the 3 lead women are faultless and the film is very well written and directed.
If you don't like it your bird might, 9/10
