8310 v5.57

Hi all

I have just been given a 8310 v5.57 (insurance job) which i need to unlock
I have looked around the forums and it seems this cant be done with the data lead that i have got. I have read somewhere that the phone can be down graded then unlocked is this correct and if so can it be done with a data lead etc.???

If not does anyone know where i can get it unlocked from

Hi,

You either need to downgrad the software, or direct unlock it using mark 2 or later DCT4 unlock clip, flasher or use unlock code.
You cannot downgrade it yourself without a DCT4 flasher.

I suggest you use the unlock code method if you just have the one phone. Email me on dct4@gsmcrazy.co.uk if you need more details on that.

SORRY got the phone today and its v5.54

can this be unlocked???

Yep, just use datacable and software from www.RudeYute.co.uk/dct4.htm The TechTron one seems to work better for most.

CHEERS rude yute but i have just been informed on another forum that it will be blacklisted on all networks so i dont think the phone is any good
