I am not being biased and I dont know more than erickson or pele but what I do know is that I said Woodgate is a better defender. Rio has more to his game than Woodgate and this makes Rio a better player, I never said otherwise. I dont know in what context you mention erickson and pele but if pele was from the world cup then how could he comment on Woodgate and erickson could never select woodgate until recently of which he did straight away. Unless erickson has come out and said Ferdinand is better than Woodgate then the bias comes from you MF m8 for making comparison's with loaded statements.
Woody is quality but is missing so much football it is slowing down his development. He does do a great job of marshalling the defence for such a young bloke. His best is still to come. I don't think he will sign for Newcastle, I reckon Fowler will be departing for pastures new.

I thought Arsenal would have snapped him up anyway. Like I said before he misses too many games through injury. He will have his day but I think he will be better off at Leeds leading the backline.
