Help require on 4001 ppv

Hi all

I'm New to this,

Can anyone give me step by step information how to reset my pin number to obtain ppv?

on 4000 box to get around pin number try to order a film enter the pin number wrong until it locks out, then go to change pin number section in menu enter wrong pin number till it locks in there as well then re-boot the box and go into engineers menu and with any luck this should now read 0000 for the pin number and allow you to put your own pin number in.

This doesn`t always work though, at least it didn`t with mine.

Unless you have the right knopwledge and equipment I wouldn`t recommend pulling the red jumper on 4000 boxes with no rs232 port as its major hassle to get the NetID back into the box.

I found this the hard way and only got my box working again through the help and expertise of a member of this forum, otherwise I`d have had a dead box
