How do you copy an xbox game?
Do you have to add a seperate dvd drive to your xbox?
OR
Can you just burn them and they will play?

no m8, to burn a backup copy of an original game you have got you need to connect your xbox to a network card in your pc with a crossover cable.
so get crossover cable, one end in back of xbox, other end in back of network card on your pc.
now you need something called evolution-x
then you need an FTP program such as flashfxp
put evolution x on your xbox (there are lots of guides on how to do it)
when this is done start evo-x, this will give you an IP address
type this IP address into flashfxp and click connect
now you can see the contends of your xbox hard drive and dvd drive in the window in flashfxp
put your original game in the dvd drive
in flashfxp click on the D:\ drive
you will now see all folders and files
transfer them to your pc
then burn them to a DVD-RW (if you have one)
most games need to be burned to DVD-RW as they are to big to fit on a standard CD-R
if you dont have a dvd burner you can install a bigger hard drive in your xbox and put the game on there, or you could just put on one game at a time then delete it when you finished it, then you wont need a disc to play it, just play it from the hard drive.
sorry for the long post m8, just tryin to get you all the facts, read into it a bit, id suggest you research a subject like this before you do it m8.
lets know if you any more questions
