When powering up my ntl box it displays NTL HOME
on the TV screen but not just NTL.
I've changed the area code aswell as the frequncey, but in
stead of a blue screen i get a white screen displaying ntl home
where am i going wrong

Try resetting the box by holding the up and down buttons together and then putting the power lead in. Make sure you hold them from before you put power in and until you get into the engineer menu. From there it may be a little easier to see what your problem is.
