copy games to HDD

Am I doing something wrong here?

I put a game on CDRW and it doesn't seem to like working when the drive warmup (Thompson DVD). However it works a treat when it's cold.

I want to copy this game to the HDD. So I loaded evoX, then tried to use HDDLoader to copy it. HDDLoader says there is no disc in the drive, however, if I hit reset the game will load.

Does HDDLoader not recognise CDRW?

I'd appreciate any help on this one.

Sounds to me like you are suffering from having a sub-standard DVD drive in your XBox. It is VERY dependant on the make of media you are using.
