    don't know how much of a deal this is but someone might be interested

    i got a pair of these last night. £25 for 2 from asda

    are these rechargable ones?

    or do u have to add like 10 batteries in each one

    3 AA batteries for each handset but you can use rechargeables.. think you can use NiMh etc or whatever too but not certain if that would produce any adverse effects (i dont see how it would though)

    have a friend who got some a while back very simular to those in the pic maybe even the same an they worked a treat so at that price ya cant complain

    I've used these before they're really good. They worked in a factory with loads of high powered cables etc running around and the radios functioned perfectly. These were my mates.

    I bought the exact same pair from argos for about £50 less than a year ago for my dad who is into hunting & walking.

    If I lived near asda I'd deffo go & get a pair for £25. The range is great though there are 8 channels and if you live in a town someone could snoop on you easily. The headset is specific to the unit too, though I haven't tried looking for one.

    yea i was scanning the channels with one of mine yesterday and picked up someone doing their best policeman impression givin it all the charlie oscar echo. heard someone tellin his mate he'd be round at 4:30 too

    Went to local Adsa on Friday, said they'd never had them. The woman said they must only get them in the very big stores

    not at the asda store in st helens, but he did say that they might have them in the big one in wigan.

    cant be arsed going that far so i might go fo rthe argos ones
