Is it possible to read a 12c509 chip?

for £10 + p&p ( all for £11 ) i can seal to you my b.prog and 4 new (boxed) 509chips i can add cd with hex3 and 4 and ic-prog.I am sealing this beacouse i dont need this any more.

any programmer that does a 509 should read it. hexgen wont read a chip. just use some programming software such as propic to read it. as previously stated, it wont work if the chip is code protected. in this case, you can only read the first 64 bytes or so.

Got the baby proggy and using icprog which does not seem to work, all I get is an error restricted instruction..

is it just one particular chip u want to read or a general ability to read any you get. and what type of program do you think is on the chip?

All i really want is a proggy to do the 12c509 chip, but icprog does not work for me as it cannot find it's sys file.
