I have heard of this new Device coming out for the xbox. Can you please post anything you know about it....Links....info.....pics....your help is Much appreciated

Its a memory upgrade for the matrix chip - takes the bios up to 1mb.

Mode 1 1x1Meg
Mode 2 2x512k
Introducing Mode2.5 2x512k with STEALTH TECHNOLOGY
Mode 3 4x256k
Mode 4 1x256k (+1x512k software selectable)
Plus modes 1-3 of original Matrix still apply


There is both a soldier and non soldier version coming out - personally I feel stongly against non soldier mod chip after the lost of my last Xbox to a matrix chip - but others have had more joy with them.

my question is... how do you program it (when it's standalone)?

Do you need to hot swap it? If so then you're just as well buying the matrix in addition to it, as standalone has a very limited market.

It an addon to the matrix - I dont think it is any use for anything on its own - Not sure if it can be programed alone and then added to the matrix - but I think not.
