just make sure you got a strong desk cos they weigh a ton!
just orded one for £ 199.00 Nice, bargain!
And the warrenty is rtb
ive got 1 of these monitors i am so happy but the date on the back of mine is 1997 so its old
but got a 3 year warrenty with it
I would love to have one of them but theres not a chance in hell it'd fit, My 17 only just fits, and besides, i think i'd have to re-enforce my floor for it. Lol
i have one of the Dell badged monitors, absolutly stonking picture
Dual imputs alloing my server and pc to se 1 monitor.
They are really heavy though and i scratched the bottom right corner of the screen getting it out of the car (bugger)
I wasnt too bothered cos i got it for free when i agreed to join a company he he
It doesnt take up as much room as i thought it would because the area on the desk just got full of junk anyway.
i got myn to day, but it has 2 dull likes one near the top and one near the bottem, both starting from the left going right across to the right..any idea how to fix it?

Thats the aperture grile its meant to be there Its what makes the sony picture so vibrantl; you wont notice them soon.
i back powercow up on that one - the two dull lines are supposed to be there
Yup, I think these hold the screen in position, or something, I`m fick dont you know.
Spoony.
I still thought u where taking the piss, so i looked it up U where quite right, thay r ment to be there.
Q:There are the thin black lines that appear on the monitor screen.
A:This issue is for all the monitor with aperture grile pitch
the very faint thin lines across the screen are normal.
They are caused by the aperture grill stabilization filaments (Damper Wires) which are required for all aperture grills CRT's.
The aperture grile pitch monitor uses a thin damper wire to stavilize the internal aperture grille. These wires are most obious when the monitor displays a white background. The aperture grille allows more light to pass through the screen for brighter colors and greater luminescence.
The Damper wire is a critical part of the overall monitor design and does not negatively an affect the monitor's function.
Cheers, once again I’m happy, so I’d have to say this is a great deal, I got the same Dell monitor as Little John by the sounds of it, supposedly Dell us refurbished Sony monitors so you’re getting a Sony monitor with a dell badge, can’t be bad.

Dell have used Sony moitors for a while now and well someone has bouth a load of second hand ones and cleaned them up.
I have a high end monitor for very little money (nothing in my case) but even at £250 still great value.
Thanks,
I've been looking for a good 21" this will do nicely..
Just off phone to a mate hes ordered one as well.
What's the condition of these monitors like guys? I'm thinking of getting one but am a bit put off by their age?!? I am not bothered about their age if they have been hardly used though. Do they look well used?
Cheers guyz
