Freezing on playback of a Backup Dvd on PS2

Right can anyone help please.
My PS 2 freezes towards the end of films that i have backed up after using dvd2one and decrypter/record now max. but they work fine on my shitty apex dvd player. I have used the yellow datawrite disks.

I had same problems with these discs and others cheap too,just buy verbatim,and you wont have any problem.In fact, there are lot of errors on cheap blanks,the worst ones were datawrite 2X for me, 75% of 50 I bought stopped in the middle of the disc...

It seems reading is a little better on dvd player than PS2.

You can buy a 25 pack of 2x Verbatim DVD-R's for �34.99 at http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk/. That's where I got mine, and I havn't had a single problen with them!

i have the opposite problem, they work perfectly on my ps2 but freeze on my dvd player.

weird.

i use traxdata and some neos i had left, and unbranded traxdata with the same dye just silver on top.

could it be the different versions of ps2?

I have closed every other program that was running in the background and disabled screensaver/monitor etc and not had a prob since so fuck nose. LOL

I think it`s more luck than judgement.

i have ALWAYS ALWAYS closed all the background stuff and any running programs while burning m8, even cd writing, i done this since i very first got a cd writer as it was something i read when i first got one.

i think your right its the ps2 lasers versions, mine luckily seems perfrect and i never have a problem with games or films.
