Newbie help required for digital tv

hi i live in a listed block of flats that isnt allowed satelite dishes, to solve this problem the propertie owners have begun installing cummunial Digital arieals and dishes on teh roofs and are putting outlets in every flat, now my question when these outlets are provided will i be able to subscribe to sl<y digital and recive through this dish? im puzzeled and have asked teh property owners and tehy say they dont know eitehr and tehre just doing it to stop others doing it so i think yes but thugh id ask

The only satellite they would bother to set up for you would be $ky - if that's what you wanted then you should be OK.
