    Default Playsatation Boot Disc

Apologies if this is previously posted, but I've done a search and couldn't find the necessary related topic.

Anyhow, I came across a file titled "games Playstation Boot CD - No Mod Chip Needed.exe" - it's only 819Kb. It's a self extracting exe which explands to a 40mb iso and a txt file - basically I was wondering if it works, or if this is somehow going to shaft by bro in laws playstation should I try it (mostly out of curiousity).

I'm oy sure how to attach it to this post (or if it's allowed - mods?)so I'm hoping from my description, someone here will spot what I'm talking about. Failing that I could email it to someone if they care to verify it for me?

it could well be real m8 as you may already know there is a disc called psx change that lets you boot imports and backups on a shop bought playstation.

so maybe someone has found a way to rip the disc, OR its just another one like it.

dont think you should post it here m8, but if you wanna email it to me ill test it for you if you need me to, if so pm me and ill give you my email address

    *sigh* here we go again.

the concept of a boot cd that you can download and burn on the ps2 is impossible, there isnt one, there will never be one. the end.
the one that freaky mentioned is a shop bought disk, its not somethin we can burn ourselves.

yep as sanj says, we are talkin about a PSX disc and not a ps2 disc, and yes i know its a shop bought disc.

also m8 dont forget when the action replay 2 first came out for the PS2 it was impossible to burn for ourselves, but some found a way to do it and now the image of it is on the net to download, which is what i ment about the psx one and not that WE can just copy it

its the ps2 one m8, cant think if its disc one or 2, the one with all the ps2 codes on.

and ive got version 2, and ive got version 1.7 but never burned 1.7, in fact dunno know where it is now ive formatted that many times since i had it.

but the version 2 i got works perfectly, obviously u still have to have a dongle, but since i already ha done it wernt a problem.

pretty fckuin useless without one tho dont you think
