    Default I/O Errors

Does anyone know what causes I/O errors, I've tried to install Blitzkrieg many times, all with the same result, it bombs out on I/O errors. Strange thing is, it reports these errors at different places, sometimes installing the first disc, sometimes it will install the first disc but report errors on the second. Is this maybe a memory problem or other hardware?
    Thanx for any replies

Could be a number of things.... I/O is the protocol which the CPU uses to communicate with other devices. It also refers to the addresses of those devices (I/O Address)...

If it's a hardware issue, oh dear... possibly new HDD... (but try changing your memory to a diff slot if available, and replace your IDE cables [make sure they are 80pin cables])
Hopefully it will be software. Try scandisk and defrag the partition/drive you are installing to. Check the system management console to rule out I/O conflicts.
Load the latest mobo drivers and flash your BIOS to the latest version.

Let us know if this makes a difference. If not, I may have a couple of other suggestions...

Maybe try different installation media or a different CD-ROM drive.
Go shagging in Prague or live it large in Vegas !!

Finally got it working, it turned out to be the memory, replaced it with a new stick and no errors on install.
Thanx for the help and prompt replies.
