Game saves Hd transfer >>???

I'm pretty sure someone has already covered this but I did a search and have browsed for a while but still cannot find it.

I am about to recieve my nice new 120Gb Hd which I want to bung into my Xbox, but obviously I don't want to lose all my game saves. Where are they kept on the Xbox so that I can FTP them to my computer before I swap the Hds over???

i just booted evox from a cd and copied the entire contents of the drive to the new one.

its only small so you cant go wrong if u copy it all

Cheers but I went over to xbox-scene and did a search on their forum and was directed to a wicked program called Xbox Game Manger from http://www.xbox-saves.com

yip good prog. used it b4 i swaped out a 80 gig for a 120.. only bummer was the 120 is an unlockable maxtor.. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

are all maaxtors supposed to be unlockable m8, as i have a 40gig ata-1333 one in the box now and it locked fine.

just curious is it all models, and do you know that website that tells u what models are and arnt lockable m8, i cant find it anywhere.

If so how did you change your hdd?
I've got got enigmah and wouldnt mind bigger hard drive

i bought a new green xbox m8 and chipped it with an executer 2, you got a good memory aint ya, sorry m8 you wont be able to do it

as a more direct solution to this, just copy over the whole E partition to the new drive

yeah that a quick and easy way of doin it m8, i like playin with the save game program tho, it sjust so cool, but admittedly your way is quicker and as u say more direct

If your using evox 1.8.3682 then xbox saves manager probably wont work. Its incompatible with the new ftp system. They are working on a new release atm.

when you say workin on it m8, there has been a newer version than that out for a while, slayers installs version 1.8.3752 and it works perfectly with the save game program, i use it all the time and its wicked.
