Is the any copy protection on the new Tomb Raider game PS2

Is the any copy protection on the new Tomb Raider game PS2 "Angel of darkness" as I've just backed it up with record now Max, 4.50. on to dvdr, But when I go to play a new game. I get "fatal error." Error -- RMX version mismatch! What is this anybody know? Thanks ,

P. S. the original doesn't boot at all , but the copy will boot to the new game selection , but then gives the above error. I have a v4 PS 2 and a NO MOD CHAT AT ALL PLEASE

If the origional doesn't boot it could be a duffed disc or a new type of protection I doubt it cause they tried this with the PSX and games wouldn't boot on untouched Japanese PSX's.

The only protection I could find on it was they made the game so sh1t that no one would bother to copy it. I bought if from Game, and took it back next day (and I didn't keep an image) cos it's poo.

As for Tomb Raider, my copy works fine unfortunately

Try using NERO and burning again to another dvd - personally I don't think it's worth the effort.

i 2 have a backup version and the mrs loves this game. she said it took a while to get into it but no hates to turn it off..

id try the original on a m8s computer and try it
