Help Xp error & shutdown

I have got to type quickly started happening about 3 days ago

After a few mins.
Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

This system is shutting down


Time before shutdown : 00:00

Message
Windows must noe restart because the
Remote procedure call (RPC) service
terminated unexpectedly

even after fresh install of Xp

Please Help

Luckily I managed to find that it was Blaster Worm causing the shutdowns and get it patched and cleaned.

Thanks for the info though

Thought my motherboard was on medown for a while!

Whoever wrote this needs a kick in the a$$
