Just got sent this e-mail:
Just to let you all know, I have been informed that the cameras on the M25
speed restrictions have recently been changed. The cameras are now digital.
If the speed restrictions are on display the cameras are active.
If you pass through the speed restrictions advancing the specified speed,
you will be done.
You will be sent a picture and a producer through the post within 3 weeks.
Also on the M1, the traffic surveillance cameras have now been fitted with
speed detectors. If you pass one and then the next one (which on average
they are 3 miles apart) it will estimate your speed. If you are exceeding
80 MPH you will be done.
A3 out of London We have just adopted the mobile camera vans that they have
been using more so up North. They are unmarked and look like work vans. If
you see one by the edge of the road and the back door or window is open the
camera is active.
Is this bs?
