    Xecuter2 Bios Build 4978.02 (512k)

    >> From nfo:
    We've coded a new packer with heavy compression algorythms - the bios is now 512k.
    Except 4979 in the next couple of days , we're adding DHCP support plus a couple of on screen display extras.
    Also looking at PASV and other FTP extras to give optimum performance.

    Changes 4978->4978.2:
    - Squeezed to 512k with FTP server still functional (this is done by implementing heavy compression algorithms)
    - no functional changes

    sounds good, cant wait to give this one a try, the ftp sounds brilliant especially for newbies who wont have to get to grips with evo-x

    does this one still have trouble with the x2 lite?
    "Erm, I think we're losing sight of the real issue here, which is 'What are we gonna call ourselves?' Erm, and I think it comes down to a choice between 'The League Against Salivating Monsters' or my own personal preference, which is 'The Committee for the Liberation and Integration of Terrifying Organisms and their Rehabilitation Into Society'. Erm, one drawback with that - the abbreviation is 'CLITORIS'." - Rimmer - Polymorph

    Sorted

    Xecuter2 Bios Build 4978.03
    >> From nfo:
    Unfortunately there was a bug in the IGR code found in build 4978.02, leading to non-booting games.
    We fixed this now in build 4978.03 so finally please enjoy a fully working x2 4978 bios.

    Changes 4978.2->4978.3:
    - Fixed IGR function which made 4978.2 hang on game startup
    - Tested on pro & lite with evoX and a couple of games
    - Maybe drink less coffee next time before releasing :-p

    I know this was a problem with the intial release on the BFM version
    Xecuter2 Bios 4978 BFM (Boot From Media)
    >> From IHG on forums.xbox-scene.com:
    I converted 4978 to BFM (it's on xbins if you want it) but when I access my xbox through ftp the C drive has the E contents and the E drive has the C contents. It's not the worst problem but it's kinda weird. Could anyone test it and say if he encounters the same problem?
