    Default Resistor Mod

Just in case you guys have seen this and are wondering how it works:

    http://www.supercarmod.co.uk/no_more_fraud.html

not sure if i should post how this works but seeing as its a 2p resistor i thought i'd share the knowledge!

basicly unplug the temperature sensor on the air intake, stuff a 4K7 accross the wire terminals, slap a load of insulating tape over it and your done, the idea is to fool the car into thinking its cold!

seems to work on my multi-point injection punto.

    enjoy

p.s. 4k7 = yellow blue red bands on the resistor, maplin etc. sell them.

if i have ripped someone off: mods delete my post. appologies.

Nothing wrong with the post m8 , in fact I would say its a very good one.

Anything to stop members getting ripped off using cheap tricks is well worth posting.

    Thanx for the information m8

    Default Re: Resistor Mod

I ran this on a dyno (after getting the value off a forum) and had it switched between the temp sensor.

Basically the 'idea' is to make it feel like it's -20C outside, so dumps petrol in like it's going out of fashion.

problem with that is the lambda probe backs it off anyway.

result of the dyno run? the two were identical.
